Biography
Zara is the Director of Administration at Mainsail Partners, where she oversees administrative operations and supports a broad range of firmwide initiatives with a focus on building scalable processes to support the firm’s continued growth.
Prior to joining Mainsail, Zara spent more than 18 years at PIMCO, where she held leadership roles across global travel, workplace operations, and administrative management. Most recently, she served as Global Travel Manager, where she led global travel operations and drove strategic initiatives focused on supplier partnerships, policy modernization, and technology enhancements to drive efficiency, compliance, and a better employee travel experience.
Earlier in her career at PIMCO, Zara was part of the leadership team responsible for opening and expanding the firm’s Austin office. She also managed administrative operations across the firm’s Newport Beach and New York offices.
Zara earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
Outside of Mainsail
Originally from Southern California, Zara relocated to Austin in 2018. She enjoys spending time with her two sons, Liam and Ethan, husband, John, and their family puppy, Bingo. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and relaxing at the spa.
