Biography
Tate joined Mainsail in 2018 and works closely with Mainsail’s CFO and portfolio company leadership to support financial planning, reporting, and analytics across the portfolio. His work focuses on strengthening KPI rigor, financial insight, and data-driven decision making at Mainsail and its portfolio companies.
Prior to Mainsail, Tate worked at KPMG in the Valuation Services group, where he supported a range of valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax, and strategic purposes.
Tate graduated from the University of Oregon, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics.
Outside of Mainsail
Outside of Mainsail, Tate enjoys staying active outdoors, spending time with friends, and getting overly invested in college football and basketball games.
