Biography
Michael is Legal Counsel at Mainsail and provides support to Mainsail’s professionals on legal matters relating to firm and portfolio company operations.
Prior to joining Mainsail, Michael was an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he was a member of the Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions Groups. While at Latham, Michael advised private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on variety of transactions, including buyouts, minority financings, exits, and other similar deals. He also helped other private companies—ranging from startups to large enterprises—with strategic transactions and corporate governance matters.
Michael graduated from Skidmore College and received his J.D. from Boston College Law School, where he was an editor on the Boston College Law Review.
