Senior Talent Manager
Apoorva joined Mainsail in 2021. She works closely with the Director of Talent and the Talent Operating Partner to help build out leadership teams (C-suite and Board level executives) for Mainsail’s portfolio companies.
Apoorva also tracks and manages HR related metrics for Mainsail’s portfolio companies to help the talent team make strategic recommendations.
Prior to Mainsail, Apoorva worked at Accenture in a rotational program aligned to their HR/Recruiting function, where she was able to develop skills in process transformation, diversity recruiting initiatives, and data-driven talent strategies. Before that, she worked part-time at Strive, a start-up that focused on management training and leadership development, where she helped build and maintain a pipeline for candidates in leadership programs for underrepresented minorities & women in technology.
Apoorva graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Psychology, where she was involved in pro-bono consulting, Greek life, and psychological research.
Outside of Mainsail…
In her free time, Apoorva enjoys looking for new recipes (to cook or bake!), working out, bullet-journaling, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.
