Vice President, Finance and Controller
Heather joined Mainsail Partners in 2015 and is responsible for managing and performing duties for the accounting and financial reporting of Mainsail’s investment funds and management company.
Prior to joining Mainsail, Heather was an Assurance Manager at BDO USA, LLP. At BDO, Heather provided audit services to private equity and venture capital partnerships and technology companies. Her experience included reviewing valuation assumptions supporting fair value estimates, reviewing allocations of realized and unrealized gains and net investment income or loss, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 testing and inventory management and costing.
Heather graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Masters of Accountancy.

In her free time, Heather enjoys cooking, scenic hiking, traveling, and cheering for the Wisconsin Badgers.
