San Francisco-based Brilliant Earth, which specializes in ethically-sourced fine jewelry, has opened a showroom in Los Angeles.

The 1,000-square-foot space in the Beverly Robinson Design Plaza in West Hollywood includes two areas for private client consultations.

Brilliant Earth’s mission is to provide high quality jewelry that is made from materials harvested using socially responsible practices. “Brilliant Earth believes that luxury goods need not come at great human or environmental cost,” the company says in the mission statement on its website. Besides dealing in ethically sourced gemstones and metals, the company earmarks 5% of its profits to help communities that have suffered from unethical jewelry industry practices.
